Now and then I listen to other tists’ MP3s, not to go under but to get inspiration and possibly “borrow” or build upon some of their tricks. I haven’t reblogged any yet, but I have to give this one props for perhaps the best vocal delivery I have heard. It sounds very low-key and organic, which is of course what makes it so compelling.

Personally, I’ve always been a fan of scripting my recorded inductions – without a sub in front of me to react to, I always felt compelled to maximize the density of suggestions. The approach here is almost exactly opposite and it surprised me how alluring and disarming that approach can feel.

So give it a go. Just be warned, there are a couple of optional harmless post-hypnotics in there.
